Bournemouth-based marketing and PR agency The Collective Group has taken on two new members of staff, as the company continues to expand into its two key target markets: the engineering industry and the education sector.
Laura Shepherdson has joined as a sales and marketing co-ordinator. Her role is primarily to support and assist the business in developing its own sales and marketing activities, in addition to providing marketing and PR support to a number of clients. Shepherdson qualified with an English degree, and has joined the company from her previous post with the RNLI in Poole.
Andy Potter, a video editing expert, started his career in photography and developed his expertise working for a number of local businesses. He also does freelance work. He joins the company at a time when the use of video in marketing has expanded significantly, particularly in the engineering sector.
Media director James Howes explained: “Not only is a company video a must-have marketing tool, but now many companies are also developing case study videos and client testimonial videos, for use on websites and in social media.”
