It has already been a busy summer for AFC Bournemouth as they prepare for their first ever season in top-flight football. The Cherries’ latest signing is a commercial relationship with local app company Tablish Ltd.
AFC Bournemouth's media department will give the club's fans the world over a chance to be part of the matchday experience by offering their home game programmes to download and read on smartphones and tablets.
Tablish develop bespoke apps for business and entrepreneurial individuals, as well as providing their digital publishing services for magazines, sports events and corporations. The company serves a wide range of clients in different sectors, including England Rugby Football Union, Odeon Entertainment and The Church of England.
The company, based at Norwich Avenue West in Bournemouth, was founded in 2011 by directors Andy Anderson and Matt Satchell to develop apps on mobile devices.
Satchell said: “On reaching the Premier League, demand for tickets is without doubt going to be high so this allows people who can’t get to the game the chance to be part of the matchday experience.”
The AFC Bournemouth programmes with be available on iPhone, iPad and Android for every home game from Saturday, August 8. Fans will be able to download from the App Store or from Google Play.
