A specialist airborne surveillance and training company in Bournemouth has gone into administration. Andrew Watling and Andrew Andronikou, partners at corporate recovery and business advisory firm Quantuma, were appointed administrators to DO Systems.
DO Systems is based at Hanger 62, Aviation Park East, Bournemouth Airport, Christchurch, Dorset. It also has offices in Malta and is currently operating a number of contracts in the Middle East.
The administrators are now assessing the options for the business which was incorporated in April 2007.
DO Systems employs 18 staff and there have been no redundancies at present. The business most recently had an annual turnover of circa £12 million.
It provides airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance services and training.
Andrew Watling said: “DO Systems works in a particularly niche market and we are currently assessing both the state of the business and the level of interest in its various services and training facilities.”
