Blandy & Blandy LLP has been ranked among the top 20 firms for planning law in the UK in Planning magazine’s 2018 Planning Law Survey.

Ranked joint 20th, Blandy & Blandy has risen from 28th in last year’s rankings.

Partner and team head Karen Jones commented: “With the largest dedicated planning and environmental law team in the region, Blandy & Blandy prides itself on providing an unrivalled service in this specialist area. We are delighted that our expertise and significant experience has again been recognised in these important UK-wide rankings.

We aim to compete with the service offered by much larger, normally London-based firms, and believe that our extensive knowledge of the region and our established relationships with other leading professional services firms helps to set us apart.”

Blandy named as finalist in Thames Valley Property Awards

Blandy & Blandy has been named as a finalist in the ‘Property Law Firm of the Year’ category at the Thames Valley Property Awards.

Blandy & Blandy is home to one of the largest and most established combined commercial property and planning and environmental law teams in the Thames Valley.

INTERACTIVE MOCK TRIBUNAL POPULAR

Blandy & Blandy welcomed over 100 HR and business professionals to its annual Mock Employment Tribunal in March.

“Performed” by the firm’s leading employment law team, the ‘case’ had been chosen in advance by attendees, who were invited to select from several options when registering for the event. And the voting didn’t stop there. Before the ‘judge’ (partner and team head Sue Dowling) outlined her decision, using their mobile devices guests were invited to vote on a series of elements as well as the overall outcome.

100% of attendees said that they would recommend the event to others, describing it as “a great event”, “very informative”, “realistic”, “very relatable” and “excellent all round”.
