Blandy & Blandy hails law firm's growth at annual garden party

Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy is on course to achieve a record level of turnover this year as it continues to grow, those who attended a busy evening garden party on June 6 were told.

The event, attended by clients and contacts, was the firm's busiest ever annual Summer Garden party.

Chairman Nick Burrows said: "A very warm thank you to everyone who kindly joined us for a hugely enjoyable (and sunny!) evening at our summer garden party.

"It has been a very positive year for our firm and it was very good to be able to share our good news and continued success with those clients and contacts with whom we are proud to work most closely with."

Burrows explained that the firm’s Wokingham office, opened last autumn, was going from strength to strength and that Blandy & Blandy was on course to achieve a record level of turnover this year as the firm continued to grow.

He also congratulated several colleagues on recent promotions.

Gemma Stephenson, from the firm's commercial property team, has been promoted to partner with effect from July 1 this year.

In April this year, the firm announced the appointment of Angela Bowman as partner in its Dispute Resolution team. She has over 20 years' experience in dealing with the full range of disputed Wills, probate and Trusts claims, on behalf of private individuals and charities.

In December, it also strengthened its family law team with the appointment of Claire Clarke as a partner.
