National accountancy and business advisory group Xeinadin has acquired Cadwallader & Co, the Bicester-based accountants.

In 2022, Xeinadin formed a strategic partnership with private equity firm Exponent, in which the latter made a significant minority investment in Xeinadin and this is the firm's 18th expansion announcement since then.

"Bringing David Cadwallader & Co into the fold is another great achievement in pushing forward with our ambitious growth plans," said Derry Crowley, CEO of Xeinadin Group.

"As a trusted partner offering a range of specialist services, David Cadwallader & Co is a perfect fit that echoes the values and ethos of Xeinadin Group. We look forward to working with David and the team."

David Cadwallader & Co specialises in audit and owner-managed businesses, the not-for-profit sector and audit

Its managing director David Cadwallader said: "The team-up with Xeinadin allows us to concentrate on doing what we enjoy most, meeting with and helping our clients.

"It will enable us to streamline our back office functions and expand the range of services that we are able to offer whilst ensuring that we do not lose our personal and local approach."

Xeinadin Group was formed in 2019 and it has more than 135 offices and over 1,900 team members. It provides over 40 service lines to over 70,000 clients, predominantly small and medium sized businesses and their owner-managers.
