Blenheim Palace has launched a series of Spotify podcasts.
The streaming site is host to this twenty part exploration of the rich history and heritage of Winston Churchill’s birthplace.
The Oxfordshire Palace, famously described as the best view in England, has featured in scores of movies and television shows.
Work began on Blenheim Palace in 1705 and it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.

The podcast examines topics ranging from its starring role as a movie set, its UNESCO World Heritage Site status, the hidden rooms inside Blenheim’s iconic grand bridge and the Palace’s place in fashion and, of course, The Palace’s most famous son, Winston Churchill.
The series is hosted by social historian, Antonia Keaney and also features interviews with comedian and TV presenter Sue Perkins, writer and broadcaster Hugo Vickers and author Josh Ireland.
Antonia explains how the Palace team came to produce a podcast: “We began providing online talks and virtual tours during lockdown as a way for us to stay in touch with people who couldn’t visit in person,” said Antonia.
“I was surprised and delighted with the positive feedback and so we decided to expand our offering and produce a series of podcasts."
All the podcasts are now available to download on Spotify.
