Thames Valley Berkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has appointed Janet Le Patourel as a non-executive member of its forum. Le Patourel is the LEP’s second community sector representative and brings with her 30 years of relevant experience.

She is working as development manager for Citizens Advice Berkshire, which brings together the six independent Citizen Advice Bureaus in the county to extend and improve advice services across the sub region and to counter exclusion and deprivation.

She is also a trustee of Regional Action and Involvement South East (RAISE), which is a representative body for the voluntary and community sector in the South East.

Le Patourel commented: “It is a privilege to be joining the Thames Valley Berkshire LEP Forum in order to make progressive change for the growing sub region. We all have a vested interest in its future and I am excited to be playing such an integral role.”

Steve Lamb, chair of the Thames Valley Berkshire LEP, added: “We are delighted to welcome Janet to the LEP. Both her experience and commitment to the role will be huge assets in forging effective relationships to help drive our EU structural and investment funds strategy. We had a number of very strong candidates to choose from, which is indicative of the strength of the community sector in Berkshire.”
