Having taken on 15 new clients so far this year, it was time for Basingstoke-based Reality HR to increase its resources with the appointment of three new recruits. All three have been recruited since June, bringing the team of HR specialists to a total of 15 providing an outsourced HR function to over 70 companies.

In what is a landmark year for Reality HR, which has so far moved to larger offices, merged with another HR company and rebranded, the future for the company is looking very bright.

Nina Loveland and Nicola Gater have both been appointed as HR advisers, providing support for the HR consultants and Reality HR’s clients.

Loveland from Wokingham has just returned from maternity leave and has over 14 years’ experience in HR. She commented: “My reasons for joining Reality HR were to get back into an advisory role within a growing company. What attracted me was the broad range of clients and the fact that Reality HR had been nominated for a Working Mums award - I knew I would be working with like-minded people.”

Gater lives in Sandhurst and has two young children, returning to work in April 2013 from maternity leave. She spent nine years in her previous role with an airport services company at Heathrow Airport, finally as an HR manager having completed her CIPD qualifications. She said: “I was attracted to Reality HR as I wanted to work with a great team of HR professionals that I could contribute to and also learn from. Their refreshing attitude to working parents and flexible work patterns enable me to maintain a good work-life balance.”

Finally, Sarah Graham from Basingstoke has been recruited as HR administration assistant to support the whole office. She has just returned from maternity leave, having previously worked for companies in Ireland and Australia, as well as the UK. She commented: “Reality HR is a fantastic company to work for as it is constantly growing and changing, they have a strong team and are very focused on their people and development.”

Reality HR managing director Laura Davis is delighted to have the new recruits on board and added: “2014 is turning out to be an excellent year for us as we continue to grow and the new recruits will now allow us to progress even further.”
