Banbury: Could your business survive if the unthinkable happened? asks Brethertons-hosted seminar
Snow, floods, fire, storms, power cuts … of course, we all think it will never happen to our business, but if it does, how prepared are you? The thorny subject of effective planning for disaster recovery is the topic of a free, informal seminar to be held in Banbury.
The event takes place on June 10 from 8:30am - 10:30am, and is hosted by law firm Brethertons in association with STL Communications.
According to Brethertons, around 20% of all UK companies will at some point suffer as a direct result of a fire, theft, flood, power failure, terrorist act, hardware failure or software disaster. Of the affected companies that do not have a business continuity plan, 43% will never re-open.
Ken Norman, key client manager, said: “If you do not have a business continuity plan in place or you haven’t updated it since the world of typewriters then this is definitely one for you. The seminar will provide the chance to glean some hints, tips and easy ways to give your business a better chance of survival should it fall victim.”
