B P Collins, the Thames Valley and London law firm, has announced a raft of promotions across several of its practices.

Among them, dispute resolution lawyer Rajiv Malhotra has been promoted to partner. Malhotra has been recognised as a 'Rising star' by independent legal directory The Legal 500 and his main practice areas are commercial litigation and construction.

He was part of the B P Collins’ team which advised a well-known waste management business in successfully defending a £3million claim during a High Court trial.

Elsewhere, property lawyer Emily Halley, recognised as an 'associate to watch' by Chambers UK, has been promoted to senior associate. She advises corporate and individual clients on all aspects of commercial property law – including acquisitions, sales, landlord and tenant matters and high-value, complex transactions.

Simon Deans, senior partner at B P Collins, said: "Each lawyer has made an incredible contribution both to their practice and to the firm over the years.

"They are technically excellent lawyers, always seeking to find the best solution for their clients and committed mentors to other team members. Their promotions are well deserved."

B P Collins is a cross practice firm and has business and private clients based across the Thames Valley and London, with offices in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and the City.
