Surrey bakery celebrates two new partnerships
Cavan Bakery, an almost 100-year old family business which has shops across Surrey has secured two new partnerships with The Lensbury Riverside Resort and Garson’s Garden Centre, Farm Shop, and Restaurant. The partnerships will see Walton-on-Thames-based Cavan Bakery provide their delicious baked goods, including artisan breads and freshly baked pastries, to The Lensbury Club’s deli and Garson’s Farm Shop.
The two new partnerships mark a key moment for Cavan Bakery, following investment from Lloyds Bank early in 2023. This investment enabled the expansion of its production facility.

CEO of Cavan Bakery, Jeff Greenall, said: “Following the recent move to our larger, purpose-built bakery, we are really excited to expand our production and announce two new partnerships with The Lensbury Club and Garson’s Farm Shop. These two businesses have synergy with our own core values and showcase the very best, locally crafted artisan products. We’re proud to be able to bring our delicious baked goods to their audience and look forward to seeing what the partnerships will bring.”
Lukasz Stawick, Operations Director at The Lensbury Club, added: “We are big fans of both the Cavan Bakery team and the products they create. As a local business with their bakeries essentially on our doorstep, it made perfect sense to us to strike up this partnership."
Karen Fowler, Farm Shop Deli Supervisor at Garson’s Farm Shop, said: “We love nothing more than supporting local businesses creating incredible products. The new partnership with Cavan Bakery is a continuation of that goal. Cavan Bakery will be a great addition to our range and will be an instant hit with shoppers and visitors to our garden centres.”
Cavan Bakery has 13 stores in and around London and is led by head baker, Hicham Ezzaouaoui who has been a part of the business since 2009, and a team of 25 bakers.
The Lensbury Club was first formed in 1920 as the sports and social club for employees of Shell, the Dutch petroleum giant. The clubhouse was completed in 1938 overlooking Teddington Lock. Post World War II, The Lensbury still hosts many sporting legends and world-class sports teams, who use the elite facilities when preparing for upcoming competitions.
Garson’s was created in 1871 by George Henry Thompson in Esher. The mixed farm gradually began to specialise in vegetable production, selling to greengrocers at the renowned Borough Market by London Bridge. It is now an award-winning destination Garden Centre, Farm Shop and Restaurant with locations in Esher, Surrey and Titchfield, Hampshire.
