4 ways you could win an award for being Made in Hampshire

At this year’s Hampshire Business Awards, we’re looking to recognise the excellence and diversity of production and manufacturing in Hampshire.

If you are making products in Hampshire, we are inviting you to enter this category. The category is open to businesses large and small, from local food or drinks manufacturers, through to fashion brands and high tech products for businesses.

Sponsored by Hampshire County Council, the Made in Hampshire Award will be presented to a company known for its exceptional craftsmanship, innovation, and dedication to quality.

So how can you set yourself apart for a greater chance of taking home the trophy? We’ve put together a list of four things for you to focus on:

Representing the highest standards of quality – Only the very best products in Hampshire will be worthy of winning such a closely-contested award. Judges will be looking for excellence and refinement throughout every stage of your manufacturing process.

Embracing sustainable practises – As the need for sustainability becomes ever clearer, this award will be presented to a company who has altered their operations to become more ecologically conscious. We’re looking to recognise businesses who are making a necessary commitment to environmental stewardship.

Impacting the local economy – One of the top ways to impress the judges and category sponsor Hampshire County Council is to ensure you’re having a positive impact on the community around you. From creating jobs to supporting other local businesses, every effect of your products and processes will be considered.

Encourage collaboration – Within Hampshire and beyond, there is an enormous network of businesses that contribute to the manufacturing sector. To have the best chance of winning the Made in Hampshire Award, you’ll need to have made a good use of collaboration, be it through supply chain integration, research and development, or knowledge sharing.

With the region’s manufacturing community expanding by the day, judges are expecting to have a tough time picking the ultimate winner for this sought-after award.

Anyone could take home this trophy. We’re seeing entries from both hand- and factory-produced products, food and beverage producers, craft manufacturers, aerospace companies and more.

Think you have what it takes to win this award?

Then submit your nominations online now for your chance to be crowned a winner at the Hampshire Business Awards 2023 – entering the awards is quick, easy and completely free.

Thank you again to Hampshire County Council for sponsoring this award.
