New Forest Collection secures management deal with Rockingham Partners
The New Forest Collection hotel group has agreed a deal with hospitality management company Rockingham Partners, bringing aboard two industry veterans.
Mike Lashmar and Simon Maguire will now help to steer the business following the recent departure of MD Garry Baldwin and ahead of the retirement of current owner Mr Shammas.
The collection includes Burley Manor, Moorhill House, Bartley Lodge, Forest Lodge, Beaulieu Inn and The Drift, all of which had previously been put up for sale prior to the new deal.
Now under new management, the group will look to revitalise interiors across its properties – starting with the reopening of Moorhill House, whose new look comes courtesy of interior designer Emily Tyers.

Simon Maguire brings to the group a proven track record of transforming properties into successful lifestyle destinations.
His career has included senior roles at Firmdale, Hotel Du Vin, Harbour Hotels, and he served most recently as MD of Luxury Family Hotels.
“We see incredible potential to build upon the New Forest Collection’s success, leveraging their existing portfolio – all in stunning National Park surroundings”, said Simon.
