Sammi-Select wins South East Angels’ Guildford startup roadshow

Sammi-Select has been announced as the winner of South East Angels’ startup roadshow in Guildford.
Founders, investors, and key stakeholders from the local startup ecosystem came together at Guildford Pavilion earlier this month, following recent stops in Brighton and Southampton.
Each event provides a platform for entrepreneurs to connect with potential investors, gain exposure and receive valuable feedback to propel their ventures forward.
This stop’s winner, Sammi-Select, helps to gather fair, factual, cost-efficient interview data using the industry-proven multiple mini-interview method.
Founder Dr Alison Callwood and her team have helped both universities and public sector organisations like the NHS develop their interview processes and work towards eliminating bias against neurodivergent candidates.
“The event was a great forum to network and learn from other entrepreneurs in the local ecosystem in a relaxed and friendly environment”, said Dr Callwood.
“I really valued the opportunity and would recommend others to take part.”
South East Angels, an angel investor network based in Brighton, is also set to make stops in Canterbury and London for this year’s startup roadshow, supported by MisFit Founders, NatWest and FSE Group.
Kristina Pereckaite, director of South East Angels, added: “Alison delivered an impressive pitch that communicated a sound business model as well as real impact for diverse candidates in the hiring process. “Sammi-Select is a great local business and a well-deserved win.”
