Reading cybersecurity firm Bridewell appoints new CCO
Bridewell, a cybersecurity business based in Reading, has appointed Ben Vaughan as CCO to help the firm expand into new markets.
Ben’s career spans senior sales, marketing and general management roles in cybersecurity across the UK, US and Western Europe.
He’s particularly familiar with the cybersecurity market in North America, having headed up Thales’ cyber defence solutions business on the continent. He’s also previously led Airbus’s cyber security marketing function.
The new role will see Ben creating global growth strategies and enhancing Bridewell’s existing commercial processes, leveraging experience with clients in defence, aerospace and critical national infrastructure.
“I was drawn to Bridewell because of its excellent reputation with its current customer base”, said Ben.
“I’m now here to help the firm take the next step in its commercial strategy, with a focus on applying the organisation’s established quality and expertise to those new opportunities.
“Bridewell is ideally placed to expand geographically and I’m looking forward to helping the business to achieve its targets.”
His appointment follows news that Bridewell had been selected to take part in the Microsoft Security Copilot Partner Private Preview to help shape the AI-powered future of cybersecurity.
Anthony Young, co-CEO of Bridewell, added: “Ben’s background in cyber security and his track record in commercial expansion are exactly what Bridewell needs for our next phase of growth.
“His commercial experience on an international scale enhances our ability to serve a wider client base and address the complex cyber security challenges facing our customers.”
