Marine startup Seabird Technologies takes unit at Chichester Business Park

Flude Property Consultants has let Unit 9 at Chichester Business Park to Seabird Technologies, a startup looking to help decarbonise the maritime industry.

Built as part of a new development at the park which completed its first phase in early 2024, Unit 9 is a 3,145 sq ft end-of-terrace unit.

Brandon White, senior surveyor at Flude, said: “In what has at times over the past 12 months become an increasingly challenging market, occupiers demand for high quality space has continued, with the rewards of building such schemes exemplified at Chichester Business Park.

“Seabird are another great addition to this fantastic scheme at Chichester Business Park and this letting takes the scheme to over 50 per cent now let.

“Unit 10 has subsequently followed under offer with interest in the remaining units of 2,440 sq ft each and final 7,995 sq ft.”
