Nailsworth-based Forest Green Rovers – described as the world’s greenest football club by FIFA – have agreed a partnership with Cheltenham-based First Digital to become the club’s Official Technology Partner.

Forest Green Rovers will now be able to offer a live streaming service and highlights packages, with branding visible at the innocent New Lawn. It will  be working with businesses who are looking to reach their sustainable goals through the use of technology.

Commenting on the partnership, Henry Staelens, Chief Executive Officer at FGR said: “We’re delighted to welcome First Digital into our family of Official Partners. They are local leaders in technology services and from the start, we could see that they were really passionate about getting involved in the club.”

Group Managing Director at First Digital, Nigel Church added: “I am very pleased First Digital will become Forest Green’s Technology Partner. As organisations we share a very similar ethos – we want to think differently, and bring innovative solutions to challenges. Therefore I am very excited about the relationship and its potential.”
