Cheltenham cyber and tech recruiter doubles turnover and almost triples headcount

Cybersecurity and technology recruitment company InfoSec People, has nearly tripled its headcount and doubled turnover despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
At the start of 2020, InfoSec People’s headcount consisted of six employees working through the pandemic. As of May 2021, its headcount has nearly tripled to a thriving team of seventeen; including the return of Principal Recruitment Partner, James Marklove. Company turnover has also more than doubled.
The business has also diversified, growing its permanent and contract offerings as well as launching a stand-alone executive search practice called Sentients to focus on CISO and CIO engagements across the UK and Europe. Additionally, InfoSec has created an advisory board of cyber and tech leaders including several FTSE100 CIOs and CISOs, to assist with future growth.
In the last few months, InfoSec People have been shortlisted in the National Recruiter Awards 2021 for Recruitment Agency of the Year, with results due in September. Managing Director, Chris Dunning-Walton, was shortlisted for the SC Europe Awards in the “Outstanding Contribution” category alongside several cybersecurity stalwarts for his work in founding CyNam (www.cynam.org), the UK's largest Cyber Cluster.
InfoSec People is now embarking on its next phase of growth, aiming to build the team to 25 people by 2022 and expanding further into consultancy.
