Book your place: Gloucestershire College Business Breakfast with guest speakers Amazon Web Services - 17th February

Local businesses are invited to join Gloucestershire College (GC) on Thursday 17 February, 9-11am, for a morning of breakfast, networking and talks with special guests Amazon Web Services.
About the event
The event will focus on equipping local businesses with knowledge and practical guidance on developing and retaining a motivated, highly skilled workforce in IT, Cyber and Professional services.
Guest speakers Cecilie Lowson and Kira Levy from Amazon Web Services will be discussing:
- How AWS are dealing with the skills shortage in the technology sector
- Combating The Great Resignation - tips for retaining skilled ICT staff
- Attracting new staff in the tech sector - what AWS have learned and what the pandemic has taught them

A member of the college’s apprenticeships teaching team will also be sharing their perspective on upcoming talent in the industry, and how employers can tap into that talent pool.
Businesses will have the opportunity to network, share their experiences, and learn from the GC Employer Training & Apprenticeships team on how to get the most out of apprenticeships and available funding.
The business breakfast is free to attend and includes a sit down breakfast in the college’s beautiful onsite restaurant, Restaurant Number One. The talks will be taking place in ADA, the college’s £3m cyber and tech training facility.
