Worcestershire LEP to host ‘BIG conversation’ on county’s future this February
Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has announced details for this year’s flagship event, ‘Worcestershire: The BIG Conversation’.
Taking place on Friday 23rd February, the free event will bring together CEOs, MDs and professionals from the public, private and education sectors to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the county over the next 20 years.
It’s split into three key themes – skills and training, innovation, and growing a business.
The conversation will cover workforce planning and how to create a future workforce; how to grow innovation within Worcestershire and recognise when it is happening; and how Worcestershire businesses can be supported to grow and prosper, as well as the business support package available to them.
Each session will provide an overview of the work being delivered by the LEP and its partners, as well as creating a pipeline for future projects to grow the county.
Paul Walker MBE, chair of Worcestershire LEP, said: “I’m delighted to be able to invite the community to join us for ‘Worcestershire: The BIG Conversation’.
“We believe in the power of collaboration and the impact it can have on our county. This event is a unique opportunity for stakeholders to come together, share insights, and contribute to the growth and prosperity of Worcestershire.
“I encourage anyone who lives, works, invests or has a passion for Worcestershire to join us on the 23rd of February and help ensure Worcestershire continues to be a connected, creative, dynamic economy for all.”
