Mears Group opens applications for 2025 apprenticeships

Gloucester-based Mears Group, the housing maintenance and social care provider, has opened applications for its 2025 apprenticeship programme, kickstarting the careers of more than 120 new apprentices, with more expected later this year.
This year’s successful candidates are set to join Mears Group’s teams across the UK, with the company now taking applications for a range of trades apprenticeships, including electrical, gas and carpentry, as well as business administration, customer service, health and safety and IT.
This year’s new apprentices will benefit from partnerships with a network of specialist training providers, alongside the support of experienced mentors handpicked from the business’ existing workforce.
Jo Fry, Mears Group’s HR Director, said: "Our apprentices have access to industry-leading training and mentors, who in turn benefit from a refreshed perspective, inspiring the next generation and boosting their own personal development.”
Mears currently has more than 300 apprentices in post including 129 new apprentices who joined last year.
