Wessex Water appoints Knights Brown on £3.9bn delivery framework
Construction firm Knights Brown has been named as a partner by Wessex Water for its AMP8 capital delivery framework, supporting its 2025-2030 investment period.
Wessex Water services 2.9 million customers across the Central South and South West, including Dorset, Somerset, Bristol, most of Wiltshire and parts of Gloucestershire and Hampshire.
Knights Brown has been selected as one of four providers to deliver civil engineering projects across the Wessex region.
The work will encompass mains repairs and renewals for both clean and wastewater infrastructure.
Mike Crook, divisional director for Knights Brown, said: “We’re delighted to have secured a position on this valuable framework with Wessex Water, which is a significant addition to our portfolio and will provide a long-term workstream for our directly employed workforce.
“We look forward to working alongside the other partners to deliver the AMP8 investment programme over the next five years, helping to improve water infrastructure in the South West.”
