Milton Park business campus in Oxfordshire has welcomed three life science biotechs – PhysiomicsOutrun Therapeutics and Oxehealth – to its co-working space at Bee House.

Oxehealth, which provides contactless patient monitoring for inpatient mental health, has moved into three offices and two lettable stores alongside Physiomics, a quantitative pharmacology and biostatistics consultancy helping to accelerate and derisk drug development.

The companies are joined by Outrun Therapeutics, a preclinical biotech looking to unlock the therapeutic potential of protein stabilisation for the treatment of cancer and other diseases.

They join a diverse cluster which includes digital healthcare provider M3, green hydrogen innovators Electrogenos, and OBN, a membership organisation supporting and connecting the UK’s life sciences sector.

The flexible spaces at Bee House accommodate businesses of all sizes, with co-working spaces for freelancers all the way up to 2,500 sq ft private offices.

There’s also hot desking space for startup entrepreneurs.

Nikki Gibson, who oversees Bee House as Ashdown Phillips & Partners’ head of flexible workspaces, said: “We’re delighted to welcome these diverse biotech and digital health startups to our buzzing Bee House community.

“The companies are a perfect fit for the vibrant, collaborative environment.

“Increasingly, we’re finding that our occupiers are looking for flexible facilities which can adapt to changing needs, giving employees hybrid working opportunities and the option to network among likeminded individuals whilst enjoying Milton Park’s amenities on their doorstep.

“We’re excited to see how these companies will benefit from the opportunities the Milton Park ecosystem offers and look forward to seeing them settle into their new home on the Park.”

Mike Wiggins, head of operations at Oxehealth, added: “We’ve settled in quickly to our new home at Bee House following our move.

“It’s a decision which has given our team the ability to enjoy the range of amenities on offer while providing the company with plenty of space to grow.

“We were originally drawn to Milton Park because of its well-connected location, both in terms of transport links, but also in its proximity to world-class academic and industry talent.

“Bee House is ideally located within that wider mix.

“Crucially, it provides us with the flexible space we need to capitalise on future growth.”
