RO Real Estate hits full occupancy in Southampton with new lease
RO Real Estate has completed a new lease to Oil Spill Response (OSRL) at its Southampton harbourfront development, Waterside Place.
The property is also home to the secretary of state for levelling up, housing and communities, the NHS, and logistics firm EV Cargo.
Waterside Place is now at 100 per cent occupancy for the first time since the comprehensive refurbishment of Building 3, which brought in a remodelled reception area and a new air conditioning system, lifts and showers on every floor.
Ed Davidson, asset management director at RO Real Estate, said: “As this letting brings the estate to full occupancy, it serves as a testament to the quality of the refurbishment.
“This waterside location is perfect for OSRL, given their role in mitigating the impact of oil spills on the environment.”
David Kershaw, group real estate director at RO Real Estate, added: “We’re extremely proud to have secured the final lease at one of our Southampton properties with OSRL, the world’s largest international industry-funded cooperative dedicated to responding to oil spills.”
RO Real Estate was advised by CBRE and Vail Williams, while OSRL was advised by LSH.
