Mar-Key Group brings aboard new hires after move to larger Dorset HQ
Temporary structure providers Mar-Key Group have brought on two new recruits following a move to a larger headquarters in Christchurch last year.
The firm recently welcomed both Chris Green as head of site operations and Russell Slater as structure solutions operations manager.
Chris brings 30 years of experience in the industry, having worked on sites of varying scales and managed teams in the field.
He’s set to lead all site operations across Mar-Key Group’s events and structure solutions divisions, ensuring high standards of build and service.
Meanwhile, Russell arrives with 20 years’ experience in operations management in the building industry.
He’ll be overseeing delivery of the group’s structure solutions projects from beginning to end, managing the installations of its full range of buildings.
The double appointment comes off the back of a busy year for Mar-Key Group, recognised earlier this year with a win in the Fast Riser category at The Business Magazine’s Solent SME Growth 100 awards.
Hannah Field, group brand and marketing manager, and Jade Carpenter, chief commercial officer, collected the trophy on the evening.
“Our 95 per cent growth in the last two years has come from diversifying our business model and driving our international business,” they said.
“Previously we focused mainly on events, and now we do a lot of commercial work.
“Moving to new premises has greatly increased our capacity. We’re growing, but also maintaining a fun, ‘family business’ ethos, which is us all over.”
