Global Telesat Communications, a satellite communications products and services company, has chosen Fleets Corner Business Park in Poole for its new headquarters.

Owned by Federated Hermes, the park spans 560,000 sq ft, including 320,000 sq ft industrial accommodation and a further 40,000 sq ft office space.

Global Telesat Communications now occupies 2,470 sq ft on the ground floor of Waterloo House, from which it will serve its more than 60,000 customers across 165 countries.

James Phipps, business development manager at Global Telesat Communications, said: “The relocation and upsize of our headquarters marks the next stage of growth for Global Telesat Communications.

“We required a location that combined quality with accessibility and breadth of amenities for staff, and nowhere else could match what is provided at Fleets Corner.”

Other occupiers at the park include cosmetics giant Lush, recruitment company TeamJobs and engineering firm Calcinotto.

Stephen Bradley, director of investment management at Federated Hermes, added: “Benefitting from its strong road links to the M27 and M3 motorways, Fleets Corner Business Park is strategically located with access across the South and South Coast international ports and airports.

“We are pleased to welcome Global Telesat Communications to the community.”

Galena Real Estate, JLL, Goadsby and CBRE acted for Federated Hermes on the deal. Trethowans represented Global Telesat Communications.
