Eventful Lives podcast finds new home at Smartbase in Dorset

Coworking space Smartbase near Bournemouth Airport has opened a new studio dedicated to a popular podcast – ranked among the top 0.5 per cent globally.
The Eventful Lives Podcast has gained a loyal following for its in-depth conversations with inspiring individuals from various walks of life.
Past guests have included sports promoter Barry Hearn, former footballer and manager Harry Redknapp, entrepreneur Simon Squibb and ex-marine and SAS operator Jason Fox.
It’s hosted by Dodge Woodall, who also runs Bournemouth 7s Festival – dubbed the ‘sporting Glastonbury’ – and training course provider Event Crowd.
“Smartbase have been unbelievable to work with and a breath of fresh air,” said Dodge.
“They’ve done a great job building our new podcast studio and it’s a game-changer for us having a space where we can welcome our guests and produce high-quality content all in one place.
“We’ve also moved our Bournemouth 7s and Event Crowd teams, so we’re all under one roof.
“Massive thanks to everyone at Smartbase, and I can’t recommend this place highly enough.”
Karl Fuller, centre manager for Smartbase, added: “We’re incredibly excited to provide a dedicated space for the podcast and support its mission to share stories from characters who have lived eventful lives.
“This new studio will offer a top-tier recording environment, empowering hosts and guests to deliver exceptional content.”
