Midlands developer the Deeley Group has secured permission for a £7.5 million manufacturing and distribution facility in Buckingham.

Buckinghamshire County Council granted permission for a 40,000 square foot industrial and warehouse unit on Buckinghamshire Industrial Estate named Cygnet 40. It could create more than 50 new jobs.

Work is scheduled to begin in June 2023 ahead of an expected completion in Spring next year. Coventry-headquartered Deeley Group is currently seeking a potential tenant or occupier for the site.

Ziran Land is a joint venture partner on the development with the Deeley Group while Chris White, managing director of White Commercial who introduced the opportunity to Ziran Land and Deeley Group, is the developer’s retained agent on the scheme.

Andrew Brazier, development consultant at the Deeley Group, said: “We are pleased that this important development, which will create vital new jobs in Buckingham, has been approved.

“The 40,000 sq ft unit will be an excellent addition to the manufacturing and logistics industry in Buckinghamshire. We are currently in discussions with a number of potential occupiers.”
