A Midlands-based business rates advisory firm has moved into new premises after a year that saw them saving clients almost £1 million.

Michael Borland and Theo Wong of The Business And Ratings Advisory Service worked with Ian Parker, joint managing director at commercial property agents John Truslove, to secure the lease on 582 sq ft of offices on the ground floor of Unit 2 at Haydon House, on Alcester Road in Studley, Warwickshire.

It is now the base for their business working with clients across England on reducing their business rates as well as providing property management services.

Theo Wong explained: “These are our third offices in the three years we’ve been established. The first two were serviced offices but as business has snowballed, we’ve needed more space and it was time for somewhere permanent for just ourselves; a proper headquarters.

“In the last year alone we have saved our clients – ranging from tenants to landlords, individuals, SMEs and corporations – in excess of £1 million.”

Ian Parker, joint managing director at John Truslove, said: “We have a good, established, relationship with Michael and Theo. They were an ideal tenant for our landlord client, with a strong and growing business."
