Greensafe IT acquires new Droitwich warehouse
Kidderminster-based Greensafe IT Ltd has bought a 60,000 sq ft industrial and warehousing unit on the Berry Hill Industrial Estate, Droitwich.
Established in 2012, Greensafe IT Ltd now employs around 180 and chairman John Sansom said the acquisition of the new Droitwich warehouse would create more jobs.
The company, based at Hoo Farm Industrial Estate, Kidderminster, provides global IT services in the UK and Europe. The business has also established an additional facility in Utrecht in the Netherlands to support European expansion plans.
Mr Sansom said: “We provide a wide range of IT services to medium to large corporates, including refreshing IT assets, updating software, and managing office decommission and relocation.
“We are currently experiencing compound growth annually of 20 per cent plus and this is being reflected in the growth of our workforce.
“The purchase of the warehousing facilities at Droitwich was essential to continue to service this growth and the location, close to the M5 and the national motorway network was an ideal site to support our future business requirements.”
Ian Parker, joint managing director of John Truslove, who advised on the acquisition, said: “We are very pleased to have advised Greensafe IT Ltd on this purchase– a considerable saving on the original marketed quoting price."
Charles Dauncey at agents Harris Lamb advised the vendors. Stewant Coles at Thursfields Solicitors acted for Greensafe IT Ltd and Yasar Baz at Eddowes Perry & Osbourne for the vendors.
