Law firm Gardner Leader has welcomed senior associates Jeremy Tier and Will Castledine to its family and dispute resolution teams, respectively.

Hailing from Wiltshire, Jeremy joins the firm having practised exclusively in family law since 2005.

He’s previously held roles at Batt Broadbent Solicitors and most recently Wansbroughs Solicitors, where he was partner and head of divorce and financial matters.

Jeremy specialises in financial matters arising from divorce and is experienced in advising high net worth clients with complex needs, including pre-nuptial agreements, and negotiating and settling cohabitation disputes.

“It’s a privilege to be joining such a talented and well-established firm during an exciting period in its long history”, said Jeremy.

“Family law is an area in which Gardner Leader is well respected, and I’m delighted to be adding my nearly two decades of experience to the mix.”

Before joining Gardner Leader’s dispute resolution team, Will spent a decade at City law firm Olephant Solicitors.

Based in Berkshire, he specialises in commercial litigation, with a focus on shareholder, company and contentious insolvency disputes.

Will has significant experience advising on matters before the High Court, including appellate experience before the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.

“Gardner Leader is a firm which continues to solidify its position as one of the leading firms in the South of England across all practice areas”, he said.

“I’m looking forward to meeting our clients and working with the team to further demonstrate our expertise.”

Will and Jeremy’s appointments are the latest in a series of hires in recent months, including partner Lauren Blackman, who arrived on the conveyancing team in April, and Vicky Schollar, who joined as Gardner Leader’s head of employment at the start of the year.

Derek Rodgers, managing partner, added: “We’re thrilled to have both Will and Jeremy join the Gardner Leader team.

“Their wealth of skills and knowledge will further strengthen our dispute resolution and family teams.

“As a firm, our purpose is to deliver best-in-class advice, guidance and service to our clients, ensuring they have peace of mind throughout the entire legal process.

“Will and Jeremy will play key roles within their respective teams, and their appointments mark a successful period of growth for the firm which we hope to continue over the coming months and years.”

That period of growth has seen Gardner Leader expand its team by 19 per cent over the past two years.
