Reading’s Ultima Business Solutions welcomes new CFO
Berkshire-based Ultima Business Solutions has appointed Jamie Beaumont as its new chief financial officer (CFO).
Jamie brings to the firm extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, growth businesses, and AI technology.
A graduate of Oxford University and a chartered accountant, Jamie began his career at PwC, before joining David Phillips Furniture – where he helped double turnover and treble profitability for the business.
He’s also served roles at LSL Property Services and Tangent Communications, where he restructured the business for growth.
Most recently, Jamie was the COO of an AI company specializing in speech recognition technology, which was successfully acquired in November 2023.
Scott Dodds, CEO of Ultima, said: “We are delighted to welcome Jamie to Ultima as our new CFO.
“He has a proven track record of delivering financial excellence, driving growth, and creating value for businesses.
“His experience in the value and application of AI is key to Ultima’s vision and strategy.
“Jamie will be a great asset to our leadership team as we continue to expand and innovate our portfolio of solutions and services.”
Jamie added: “I am very excited to join Ultima as CFO and be part of this dynamic and fast-growing company.
“Ultima has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality solutions across cloud, security, digital workspace, AI, and automation with teams of technology experts that are second to none.
“I look forward to working with Scott and the rest of the team to support Ultima’s future growth, profitability, and value creation.”
