Penningtons Manches Cooper advises on Smithers' acquisition of ResChem
Smithers, a provider of testing, consulting, information and compliance services with a base in Surrey, has acquired ResChem Analytical Limited.
Smithers were advised on the deal by the corporate team at Pennington Manches Cooper, which included Oxford-based Partner Will Axtell and Senior Associate Dominique Sabatini, with support from senior associate Lindsay Chadwick and real estate senior associate Sarah Jordan.
ResChem Analytical Limited were advised by a team from Mackrell Solicitors.
The acquisition of ResChem, which specialises in pesticide residue analysis, includes the offices and laboratories at the Derby-based firm’s headquarters. It will allow Smithers to extend its global pesticide residue offering, along with expanding its network of field co-operators.
