Grant said: “I am honoured to have been appointed as Chair of Resolution. I am relishing the opportunity to continue Resolution’s work in helping to influence government policy and continue to shape family law and practice with the aim of providing a better and more pragmatic solution for separating families as well as supporting Resolution members.
“A very responsive recent members survey has identified key areas to focus on in the immediate future: Cohabitation reform, greater recognition of the voice of the child, and early legal advice and direction to alternative forms of dispute resolution.
‘“I would encourage family justice professionals of all levels to consider joining Resolution – they provide a vital source of information, resources, contacts and support for anyone in the sector.”
