Oxford’s Reeds Solicitors bolsters criminal law offering
Oxford-headquartered law firm Reeds Solicitors has announced the appointment of a team of criminal solicitors across the South East from O’Neill Wright and Nash (OWN).
Duty solicitor Caroline Snodgrass returns to Reeds after five years at OWN Solicitors and will be based at the firm’s Oxford headquarters.
Caroline, who trained and qualified at Reeds, has a decade of experience in criminal defence and represents both youths and adults in the magistrates’ courts.
An experienced and successful trial advocate with an interest in cases involving defendants suffering with mental health difficulties and youth defendants, she brings with her a wealth of experience in all aspects of criminal defence.
Caroline is joined by criminal solicitor Sara Ahmed and trainee Tasnim Salauddin, who will be based at the firm’s Princes Risborough office.
Jan Matthews, managing partner at Reeds, said: “We are delighted to welcome back Caroline to the Oxford office.
“She brings with her a wealth of expertise in dealing with defendants accused of a myriad of crimes.
“Her keen interest in ensuring that those suffering from a multitude of mental health issues are dealt with appropriately within the justice system is a true asset.
“To have her return and bring with her Sara and Tasnim is a great boost to our teams and clients across the South East.”
Caroline added: “I am excited to be returning to Reeds where my legal career started.
“To be reunited with old colleagues and friends is certainly a bonus and I cannot wait to get stuck in!”
