Merriman Solicitors acquires Gloucester law firm

Merriman Solicitors has acquired Gloucester-based AB Family Law. The move enhances Merriman's legal service offerings and geographical reach across Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, and the Cotswolds.  The merged entity will be known as Merriman Solicitors (Incorporating AB Family Law).

The acquisition brings significant strengths to the firm, including specialised expertise in Family Law, Wills and Probate, Dispute Resolution, and Company and Commercial law.

The acquisition strategically positions Merriman Solicitors with new offices in Gloucester and Chippenham, whilst also expanding its existing strong presence in Marlborough and wider Wiltshire area. This move is part of Merriman's broader growth strategy, aimed at strengthening market positions and exploring new opportunities.

Eric Robinson Solicitors, which has backed Merrimans since summer 2023, continues to support the firm's expansion through strategic investments and infrastructure development.
