Kent’s Thomson Snell & Passmore grows trust and tax management team
Kent law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore has welcomed two new appointments to its trust and tax management division.
Gemma McDowell joins as a trust and tax manager from accountancy firm Kreston Reeves.
Prior to that, she spent time at chartered accountants Humphrey & Co and business tax advisers Gaby Hardwick Solicitors.
Gemma brings with her extensive experience in the trust and tax industry, specialising in the administration of trusts and estates – including preparation of accounts, tax returns and inheritance tax forms.
Alongside her, Charis Campbell joins the firm as an accounts and tax assistant from tax rebate experts RIFT Limited.
Charis will help with accounting and tax compliance services for trustees, executors and private individuals.
Led by Alan Kitcher, Thomson Snell & Passmore’s trust and tax management team has grown significantly in recent years and was recently shortlisted in the Private Client Team: Tax & Trusts category at the Modern Law Awards.
“These two appointments will only help to further bolster the division as we move forward with our ambitious growth plans”, said Alan.
“I look forward to working with Gemma and Charis as they bring further depth and breadth to the team.”
