VWV, a national full service law firm which has its headquarters in Bristol, took home the 'Legal Advisor of the Year - to Education Institutions' at the 2024 EducationInvestor Awards ceremony in June. This win marks consecutive annual wins for VWV at the Awards.

VWV is a leading legal services provider in the education sector. With more than 700 clients in the Independent Schools sector, 500 academies and maintained schools and more than 70 further or higher education clients it has one of the most extensive combined lists of nursery, school, college and university clients of any UK law firm.

The ceremony also honoured VWV subsidiary, Cairneagle, with an award. Cairneagle, a strategy consultancy firm focused on the education sector, assists institutions in assessing, planning, and implementing their most critical and complex opportunities and challenges. This latest accolade marks their sixth EducationInvestor award.

Rob Collier, Partner and head of VWV's corporate team, collected the award. He said: "We were surprised but delighted to win our legal category, which results from the wonderful, hard-working team we have at VWV. We were very pleased to share the success with our Cairneagle colleagues."

For more than 10 years, the EducationInvestor Awards have been celebrating the best education institutions and those that support them. In 2014, VWV won their first EducationInvestors Award and this year’s victory marks their fourth win, showcasing their continued excellence and dedication to the education sector.

Steve McGuigan, Managing Partner at VWV, also noted the recognition of VWVs long standing commitment to the education sector, "This recognition reflects our long-standing dedication and focus to the education sector. At VWV, we are passionate about helping education institutions thrive, and this award underscores our continued success in doing so."
