Cheltenham based BPE Solicitors advises on significant healthcare acquisition
In partnership with leading Toronto law firm WeirFoulds, and as part of an acquisition spanning the UK and the USA, Cheltenham based BPE Solicitors has advised Canadian based healthcare company, StageZero Life Sciences, on its acquisition of Clinics Operations Limited, a subsidiary of London-based Health Clinics Limited.
StageZero Life Sciences specialises in developing and commercialising diagnostic tests for the early detection of cancer. This includes the Sentinel Principle platform, which determines biomarkers from whole blood as well as ColonSentry, a blood test which assesses an individual’s current risk of colorectal cancer and Aristotle, a cancer testing kit which screens simultaneously for 10 cancers from a single sample of blood.
Clinics Operations Limited is a provider of specialist clinical services across Europe and North America and Health Clinics Limited specialises in patented cancer treatment as well as a managed clinical service to help patients reduce their risk of developing chronic diseases.
The team at BPE was led by John Workman, Senior Partner and included Technology Team Partner, Christine Jackson and Kathryn King (Associate – Corporate).
