B P Collins donates £15k to good causes in Buckinghamshire

Thames Valley law firm B P Collins has donated £15,000 to local causes as part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility.
The donation marks the 11th year of the firm’s partnership with the Heart of Bucks stewardship fund, bringing its total contribution to £115,000 since 2015.
This year, all B P Collins staff were invited to choose from five shortlisted charities and organisations that align with the firm’s CSR values – building stronger communities, providing better futures and creating safer lives.
£4,000 went to Connection Support, which helps people in Buckinghamshire find safe, long-term housing and live as independently as possible.
£3,000 went to New Meaning Training, whose mission is to enable young people who are not in mainstream education to discover how to earn their own living on the way to adulthood.
£2,500 went to The Safety Centre, which specialises in teaching children, young people and adults how to stay safe, understand risks and avoid accidents using realistic learning experiences.
£2,250 went to Intergenerational Music Making, a charity using the power of music to bring children, older people and communities together to create and connect.
And finally, £1,750 went to In This Together Bucks, which is dedicated to creating a safer and more cohesive community through mediation, mentoring and support through various programmes – including gang mediation, mentoring sessions for victims of violent crime and assistance for survivors of domestic violence.
Lucy Wood, partner at B P Collins and a Heart of Bucks trustee, said: “We’re incredibly proud to continue supporting these outstanding local causes through our partnership with Heart of Bucks.
“At B P Collins, we believe in making a tangible difference in the community, and we’re thrilled to see the positive impact these donations will have on the lives of those who need it most.”
Henry Allmand, CEO of Heart of Bucks, added: “We’re delighted to have the continuing support from B P Collins for another year.
“I’m grateful for the partnership of the whole firm and their consistent and generous support and advocacy of small charities in the Buckinghamshire community.”
