Poole’s Norco Composites & GRP invests in team and equipment
12 new team members have joined a Dorset company after a significant expansion of its CNC (computer numerical control) and kit cutting capabilities.
Poole-based Norco Composites & GRP says it’s boosted internal manufacturing capability and also extended its advanced services to external customers.
As a result, the company is able to meet a growing demand for precision machining solutions.
To support the strategic growth, Norco has invested in new plant equipment and expanded its production floor space by 8,000 to 16,000 sq ft.
As part of the expansion, it’s relocating its existing CNC centre to a dedicated facility.
Mark Northey, managing director, said: "Our recent investments reflect Norco’s commitment to staying at the forefront of composite manufacturing technology.
"By expanding our CNC and kit cutting capabilities, we can not only meet the needs of our internal projects but also offer these precision services to external customers who value quality and efficiency.”
The new team members have extensive experience in 3D printing and related fields.
The company says it’s looking forward to partnering with businesses that can benefit from its advanced technologies and precision engineering services, driving innovation across the composite manufacturing industry.
