Advanced Insulation, the award-winning Gloucester manufacturer  of insulation, passive fire protection, buoyancy and cable protection systems. has revealed a new name to better reflect its increasingly diverse product offering.

The company will now be known as Advanced Innergy Solutions (AIS) to highlight the innovative nature of its products and solutions for the energy sector.

The company is also incorporating the new company name into its recent acquisitions, adding AIS to Covertherm, Manuplas and Bardot.

Over the last few years, AIS has broadened its products and services beyond insulation. Bringing together all products and solutions under one corporate name—‘Advanced Innergy Solutions’ (AIS), will make it easier to showcase all solutions and products under one umbrella brand.

In the last three years, AIS has significantly increased its market share in new energy markets – offshore wind and more recently automotive. The new name and branding will enable the company to continue with its diversification plans.

Andrew Bennion, AIS Managing Director, said: “It was important during this process that AIS retained its history and established presence in core sectors by undergoing an evolution rather than a revolution, but at the same time updating our name and branding to future proof our growth.”

The new branding will start to appear from today as will our new website which has been developed with site visitors in mind to provide them with improved navigation and easier access to content. The rebrand and launch of the new website represents our ambitions and reflects how the company has evolved in recent years.”

AIS has been supplying global markets with solutions for the oil, gas, subsea and marine sectors since 2007 and more recently has diversified into the offshore wind, automotive and defence sectors.
