Within the space of a month, Cheltenham's retail and leisure destination The Brewery Quarter has welcomed craft brewer Brewdog, social darts phenomenon, Flight Club and Pho, the Vietnamese street-food restaurant.

A total of eight brands have opened in the last two years.

Nikki Kontarines, Director of Martin Commercial Properties, Managing Agents of The Brewery Quarter said: “This is an incredibly exciting time, and we are delighted to have welcomed another three premier brands to The Brewery Quarter.  Following the recent launch of award-winning Hub Box, Mowgli and The Alchemist, along with Escape Hunt and F45 fitness boutique in just the last two years, we’ve become the favourite place for new and expanding brands within the leisure and retail sectors.”

Juliette Keyte, Marketing Director of Red Engine – the team behind Flight Club – said “We’ve been thrilled with the response we’ve had in Cheltenham since we opened our doors in March. Our new home in the Brewery Quarter is a fantastic setting among great industry peers, enabling us to bring unexpected, ridiculous, joy to a new neighbourhood.”

Stephen Wall, Founder of Pho commented “Since opening in March, we’ve got off to a cracking start in Cheltenham and have had a great welcome from our new customers. The Brewery Quarter feels like the perfect spot for us, with its mix of bars, fantastic food and entertainment too. It feels like the place to be in town and we love contributing to it with our own Pho vibe.”

The scheme is now home to 32 lifestyle and hospitality brands and is operating at 95% occupancy.  Its eclectic offering includes The Botanist, Escape Hunt and heavy hitting high street brand Urban Outfitters, making it one of the best regional lineups outside of the capital.  The last two years have been particularly tough for the hospitality and leisure industry and yet the eight new openings demonstrate The Brewery Quarter’s consistent growth.

Oli Marcroft, who heads up the leisure team at KLM Real Estate, said: “We have worked so hard to bring The Brewery Quarter to the successful position it is in today. It’s been a real team effort from everyone involved.  Bringing Brewdog, Flight Club and Pho, during such challenging times for our industry, demonstrates the high quality and versatile offering we have created.”
