Paris-based Steliau Technology, a manufacturer and distributor of electronic components, has acquired Basingstoke-based Alpha Micro Components for an undisclosed sum.
The deal was supported by national firm FRP Advisory.
Alpha Micro Components is a distributor of components and wireless solutions in the UK and Ireland and the move represents the latest phase of Steliau’s European expansion following recent acquisitions in in Italy and Spain.
The acquisition will open up cross-selling opportunities for Steliau, with Alpha Micro bringing new expertise in connectivity and geolocation technologies to the expanded group.

The FRP Financial Advisory team, led by director Joanne Price and partner Chris Adlam, was appointed to provide cross-border financial and tax due diligence on the deal.
