Sellside Advisors Include

Hertfordshire-based Redsquid Communications, an IT & Security consultation and managed services provider, has acquired Buckinghamshire managed services provider, OptivITy.

This marks Redsquid’s fourth acquisition in the past 12 months, highlighting its significant buy-and-build growth trajectory.

The transaction allows Redsquid to enhance its market presence as a managed services specialist in the UK and strengthen its business offering into the film production sector. This moves the Redsquid group closer to its ambition to make a difference to its customers with the use of technology and deliver future proof solutions and services.

Saffery's corporate finance team, led by Niraj Patel, with support from Sophie Lomas and Will Hodges, worked closely with management throughout the transaction process. The team provided financial due diligence services to help Redsquid arrange a debt facility from Triple Point.

On the acquisition, Niraj commented: “We enjoy supporting ambitious, growing businesses with excellent management teams and look forward to continuing to support Redsquid on its buy-and-build growth journey.”

The Chief Financial Officer, Richard Ellis said: “Thanks to Niraj, Sophie, Will and the team for their expertise and support on this strategic transaction. It was a pleasure working with them as we look forward to further acquisitions.”

Saffery's also worked closely with Altenburg Advisory, who provide debt advisory services.

Adam Aqius at Altenburg said: “Working with Saffery was a seamless experience. Their collaborative approach, coupled with their high attention to detail and deep understanding of the market, made the process efficient and effective. Their ability to mobilise quickly to make tight deadlines was instrumental in ensuring the deal completed in good time.”
