Ometis acquires Tahola

Ometis is a Birmingham-based provider of data integration, governance and analytics solutions.

It’s acquired Tahola, a data consultancy firm which works with some of the most recognised brands in the UK hospitality sector.

The combined company will offer a comprehensive suite of data services to help hotels, restaurants and hospitality businesses boost efficiency and profitability.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Tahola into the Ometis family,” said Andy Patrick, managing director of Ometis.

“Tahola’s deep expertise in the hospitality sector fits perfectly with our vision of delivering innovative data solutions across our focus industries.

“Together, we’ll help our customers turn their data into actionable insights that drive real business value.”

Ross Greig, chair of Ometis, said: “This marks an exciting new chapter for both companies.

“The hospitality sector is evolving rapidly, and businesses need robust data solutions more than ever.

“By combining our strengths, we’re uniquely positioned to help our customers adapt and thrive in this changing landscape.

“I’m particularly excited about the opportunities this creates for innovation and growth across our combined team.”

Simon Blackbourne of Tahola added: “Having founded Tahola over 20 years ago, I’ve seen firsthand how critical data has become to hospitality businesses.

“Joining forces with Ometis means we can offer businesses even more comprehensive solutions while maintaining the personal service we both value.

“Our shared commitment to customer success makes this a natural fit, and I’m looking forward to helping more operators put their data to work.”
