West Midlands-based Elta Group has acquired Ireland-based Air Movement Supplies (AMS) to expand its presence in the European filtration and fans market.
Elta Group said the deal would boost its distribution capabilities in Ireland and also scale-up HVAC equipment production.
It added that David Kelly and John Grainger would continue to lead AMS to build on the company’s existing expertise.
Mark Russell, managing director for Elta Ireland, was quoted as saying: "This acquisition represents a unique opportunity for growth, allowing us to deliver enhanced value and innovation to our customers, alongside a brand that aligns with our values and commitment to air movement and air quality."
The AMS deal also reportedly follows the recent announcement that Elta UK would be partnering with Euroclima on the supply of a broad range of air handling systems.
