Based in Wiltshire, AB Dynamics designs, manufactures and supplies advanced testing and development products to the global automotive industry.
It’s now acquired German firm Bolab Systems, a provider of automotive power electronics testing products, which posted revenues of €3.4 million for the last fiscal year.
The move supports AB Dynamics’ expansion within the testing products sector.
Its maximum consideration payable for Bolab is £9.3 million, comprising an initial cash consideration of £4.2 million and contingent consideration of up to £5.1 million.
Bolab is being acquired from its founder, who will remain in the business.
