According to the De La Rue Board, expectations for the rest of the year are in line with these results, meaning the firm expects profit to continue to steadily grow and net debt to carry on falling.
The firm dates as far back as 1813 when Thomas de la Rue launched his first commercial venture, the newspaper Le Miroir Politique on Guernsey. Since then the firm has gone on to become the largest and most trusted bank note printing company worldwide.
De La Rue's interim results for the period to 30 September 2023 will be announced on 19 December 2023.
